Note:
For security reasons, a pass phrase with a minimum length of 20 char-
acters should be selected.
Note:
WPA Enterprise is not supported in the AC mode.
802.1x Configuration
If you use a RADIUS server for authentication, you can configure
the ComPoint AC as the corresponding client.
• Authentication Method
The ComPoint AC supports the EAP-MD5 protocol. If you want to
activate 802.1x authentication, select this protocol from the drop-
down menu.
• User name
Enter the user name which has been specified for the client on the
Radius server.
• Password
Enter the password which has been specified for the client on the
Radius server.
If you want to activate the settings you have made, confirm this by
clicking
Save . Otherwise, you can discard the changes by clicking
Cancel . To activate the changes, the ComPoint has to be rebooted.
