5.7.2 Maintenance Function
Press the (Menu) key to open the [Top Menu], then touch [Printer] to open the [Color Printer
Maintenance] window.
● Nozzle Cleaning
This function forces ink through the nozzles to clear them. There are three cleaning levels:
[WEAK], [NORMAL] and [STRONG].
NOTE
Unnecessary nozzle cleaning will result in quicker ink depletion.
● Print Test
This function performs [HEAD ADJUST] to adjust printing positions of color ink and black ink,
and [NOZZLE CHECK] to check clogging of ink nozzles.
Head Adjust Performs test print by automatically adjusting printing position of the
color ink and black ink.
Nozzle Check Performs test print by forcing ink through the color ink and black ink
nozzles. Check the printed output for missed spot or thin spot.

Color Printer Information
・ Printer Status
The connection status of the color printer (online/offline) will be displayed.
・ Remaining of Black Ink / Remaining of Color Ink
The estimated remaining amount of black ink and color ink will be displayed.
For replacement procedure of ink cartridge, refer to “5.7.3 Replacing the Print
Cartridges”.

Printer Message
The following messages will be displayed according to the printer status.
“No problem.”
“Color printing in progress.”
“Front cover of color printer open.”
“Ink is not installed in the printer.”
“Nozzle cleaning in progress.”
“Nozzle failure. Please check.”
“Test Print in progress”
“Nozzle check pattern printing in progress.”
