Air Leak Test
Test the air leak with the constant exhaust valve and rapid exhaust valve closed.
If the test result is “NG”, malfunction of the NIBP constant exhaust valve or rapid exhaust valve
can be considered.
1. Select the “NIBP Maintenance” in the “Maintenance” to display the “NIBP Maintenance”
window.
2. Select “Air Leak Test” under the “NIBP Maintenance” window.
3. Select “START/STOP”, then the LED on the key will light in green and the Air Leak Test will be
performed.
4. When the Air Leak Test is completed, the LED on the key will be white and the test results will
be displayed.
Criteria : Air leak value should be 6mmHg/min or less.
If the air leak value does not meet the criteria, a leakage in the circuit or a
malfunction of the constant exhaust valve or rapid exhaust valve on the NIBP
unit can be considered. Replace the NIBP unit.
