Cleaning the Touch Panel and Housing 

 
This section explains how to clean the device and sensors. 
 

Cleaning the Touch Panel 

Since the DS-8200 system incorporates a touch panel, fingerprints and other stains are likely to 
appear. Follow the procedure below to clean the touch panel. 
 

1

  Press the [Key Lock] key for more than 2 seconds. 

 

 
 
 

Reference

 

The [Key Lock] key needs to be preprogrammed as user key. 
For procedure to set the user key, refer to the “DS-8200 System Operation Manual”. 

 
If the touch panel is not touched for 30 seconds, the key lock condition will be automatically 
cancelled. In such case, press the [Key Lock] key again.

  Clean the touch panel. 

 

 
While the “Key Lock" message is displayed, the touch panel key will be deactivated. 
If “LEAD OFF” or other message is displayed, the key lock message will not be displayed. 
 

3

  Wipe the touch panel using a cleaning cloth
