About the Function Test
The DS-7001 system bedside monitor is provided with a “Test Menu” to perform various
function tests. This section explains about each item of the “Test Menu”.
From the “Test Menu”, LCD test, NIBP function test, etc. can be performed.
CAUTION
Only service engineers are allowed to use the “Test Menu” function
which requires change in DIP switch setting. After changing the
DIP switch setting, be sure to attach the rear cover so that the users
will not be able to easily access the DIP switch. After using the
“Test Menu”, be sure to set the DIP switch back to default setting.
To Display the Test Menu
To display the “Test Menu”, it is necessary to change the DIP switch setting.
Before the procedure, prepare a particular kind of driver (Product No. DLR3-75, OSG
Corporation).
CAUTION
The “Test Menu” function can be used by setting the DIP switch No.
1 to ON. However, if the system is turned ON with the DIP switch
No. 1 set to ON, the system will be initialized to factory default
setting. If you desire to maintain the current setting, set the DIP
switch No. 1 to ON after turning ON the system.
1 Detach the rear panel.
Remove the 3 screws shown in circles, and detach
the rear panel.
