Attach the rack front cover (see section

"Attaching the rack front cover" on

page 130

), close the server, connect it to the power outlet, and switch it on.

To enable the rack model to be presented correctly in ServerView Operations
Manager, proceed as follows:

Boot the system from PRIMERGY ServerView Suite DVD 1.

In the first window, select your language settings, select "No status backup"
under "Status backup media", and continue by choosing "Next".

Read and accept the license terms.

Continue with the guided/expert mode.

Select "Tools - System Configuration Utilities - SCU Chassis Model
Conversion" and convert the server type to rack mounted.
