Hard disk drives (HDD) and solid state drives (SSD)
In order to permanently remove an operational HDD that is part of a RAID
array from the server, you first need to delete the array using ServerView
RAID Manager.

CAUTION!
All data on all HDDs in the array will be lost when deleting the RAID
array! Be sure to back up your data before deleting a RAID array.

Disconnect the power cable(s) from the HDD to be removed (1, 2).

Disconnect the SATA cable(s) from the HDD to be removed (3, 4).
