Power supply

Reinstalling the PSU
Ê
Insert the new power supply unit into the bay as described in
"Installing a
hot-plug Power Supply Unit (PSU)" on page 54
.

Make sure that the power supply unit engages correctly in the
mounting location and is locked in position. This is the only way to
prevent the power supply unit from sliding out of its mountings and
being damaged during transportation.

Completing the task

Perform the following procedures to complete the task:
1. Only when replacing a non-defective hot-plug power supply unit in a
non-redundant configuration:
"Bringing the server back to operation" on
page 51
2. Close the rear door of the rack, see
"Closing the rack door" on page 51
