6.4.1 Installation Location of Memory Modules

Installation location
Install memory modules on the memory board inside of the server.
Memory board A and B are installed as a standard feature. And a memory module is installed in each
memory slot 1 and 2 of the memory boards as a standard feature.

Order of installation
Memory modules are in pairs on this server. One memory bank consists of the memory modules with the
same slot number in memory board A and B (or memory board C and D).
When installing memory modules, install each of the pair in the same numbered memory slot of the
memory board A and B respectively (or memory board C and D respectively).

For memory board A and B (standard)
Install memory modules in descending order of the capacity into the slots in ascending order of memory
slot numbers.
