Starting up and operation

Indicators on the control panel
ID
ID indicator (blue)
Lights up blue
when the system has been selected by pressing
the ID button. To deactivate, press the button again.
The ID indicator can also be activated via the ServerView
Operations Manager and the iRMC Web interface and its status
reported to the ServerView Operations Manager and the iRMC.
Flashes blue
when the server has been highlighted using IRMC
(AVR) when local VGA off for easy identification.
Power-on indicator (green)
Does not light up,
when the system is in power-off mode but
connected to the mains (AC connected).
Lights up green
during the power-on delay and while the system
is in normal operation (S0).
AC connected indicator (green)
at the right side of the On/Off button
Does not light up
in the following cases:
– the system is not connected to the mains
– the system is powered on and in normal operation (S0)
Lights up green
in the following cases:
– the system is in power-off mode but connected to the mains
(AC connected)
– the system has been switched on and is in power-on delay

After connecting the server to the mains it takes about 60
seconds until the server enters the standby mode.
