8.1.8 The Advanced System Configuration Submenu
This submenu appears when you select [Advanced System Configuration] from the Advanced menu.
Configures additional settings.

Item Setting Description
BIOS Work Space Location Expansion ROM Area
(Unchangeable) Sets whether to enable or disable the PCI bus parity
checking.
Memory Redundancy • Disabled (Initial value)
• Mirroring Sets whether or not to use the mirroring function.
Installation of Server View is required for using the
mirroring function.
CPU Mismatch Detection Enabled (Unchangeable) Sets whether to enable or disable checking the CPU
type and frequency.
CPU Timeout Counter Disabled (Unchangeable) Not supported by this server.
CPU Frequency (GHz) Automatic (Unchangeable) Configures the clock frequency of CPU.
Hyper-Threading • Disabled (Initial value)
• Enabled Sets whether or not to run one CPU as a dual-
processing CPU. Setting this to "Enabled" may
enhance processing performance by allowing
maximum use of the processor resources.
Limit CPUID functions Disabled (Unchangeable) Configures the CPU internal settings.
CPU Halt Mode Enhanced (Unchangeable) Configures the CPU internal settings.
NX Memory Protection • Disabled (Initial value)
• Enabled
CPU MC Status Clear Next Boot (Unchangeable)
Enhanced Speed Step Disabled (Unchangeable) Sets whether or not to use the power saving
function.
Virtualization Technology • Disabled (Initial value)
• Enabled Sets whether to enable or disable Virtualization
Technology. This item may not be displayed
depending on CPU.
