Troubleshooting and tips

8.10 Added drive reported as defective

RAID controller is not configured for this drive

The drive was probably installed when the system was switched off.

Reconfigure the RAID controller for the drive using the corresponding utility.
Information is provided in the documentation for the RAID controller.

Remove and reinstall the drive while the system is switched ON.

If the hard disk drive continues to be shown as defective, then replace it (see
the "FUJITSU Server PRIMERGY TX2560 M2 / RX2560 M2 Server Upgrade
and Maintenance Manual").

Further information is provided in the "Integrated RAID for SAS User’s

recognized

When an expansion card is added, other expansion cards or onboard devices
might not be recognized.

Reinstall the drivers for the expansion cards or onboard devices that are not
recognized.
