SCSI Configurations

All devices attached to the SCSI port or to a SCSI controller (hard disk drives
and accessible drives) must have an unique address. The address is known as
the SCSI ID (identifier).

9.1

Addresses for SCSI Devices

The SCSI IDs for the hard disk drives are not set on the drive itself, but deter-
mined by the slot on the SCSI backplane.
