Connecting the devices

Perform the following steps to connect the devices:

Connecting a deployment server

Connect to the network the deployment server.
To install SystemcastWizard Lite, see the PRIMEQUEST SystemcastWizard Lite 

User's Guide (C122-E010EN).

Notes: 

Although the PXE function is used to activate the network, you cannot 

activate the network across a router.  Therefore, connect the deployment 

server to the management LAN to which the PRIMEQUEST machine is 

connected.

 

The target partition is started remotely or MMB#0 is used for all 

communication for backup or restoration.  Always perform this operation 

with MMB#0 connected to the management LAN.  However, MMB#0 

need not be active.
