6.2 Partition Mode

Figure 6.1 Extended partitioning (XPAR)

Each of these four components is referred to as an extended system board (XSB), in

contrast to the physical system board (PSB). XSBs can be combined to constitute

partitions. The dynamic reconfiguration (DR) function can be used to move these

components to other partitions.

Figure 6.2

shows an example of partition configuration in extended partitioning

(XPAR) mode.
