4.5 Basic I/O Board

- A PCI card operable only at 5 VDC will not work when inserted into a

3.3 VDC PCI slot but will work in a 5 VDC PCI slot.

- A universal PCI card is operable at both 3.3 VDC and 5 VDC, and is

operable in all PCI slots.

Size

- short: Means a short-sized PCI card.

- long: Means a long-sized PCI card. Note that a short-sized PCI card

can also be mounted in a long-sized card slot.
