Rename iSCSI Host
This function renames an iSCSI host.
The procedure to rename iSCSI hosts is as follows:

Select the iSCSI host to be renamed (multiple selections can be made) and click
[Rename iSCSI Host] in [Action].

Input the new iSCSI host name and the suffix starting number (only when
multiple iSCSI hosts are selected), and click the [Rename] button.

Name
Input a new iSCSI host name.
An existing host name cannot be specified. Refer to
"Naming conventions for renaming
for details.
The following input conditions apply:

1 - 16 alphanumeric characters and symbols (except ", (comma)" and "?")

Start of Suffix
Input the suffix starting number to be added to the new iSCSI host name.
When changing multiple iSCSI host names, the suffix number is added to the iSCSI
host names with consecutive numbers in the ascending order starting with the entered
suffix number.
When changing only one iSCSI host name, the "Start of Suffix" field is not displayed.
The following input conditions apply:

Numeric characters ("0" - "99999")

Decimal number

1 - 5 digits

When no iSCSI hosts are registered, this function cannot be used.
•
A host name, which has already been registered in the ETERNUS DX
Disk storage system, cannot be specified.
•
Multiple iSCSI hosts can be renamed with a single operation. In this
case, a new iSCSI host name has the following format: "Entered iSCSI
host name + a suffix number".
