11.3 In Case of Problem During Upgrade from Version 16.x
This section describes the method for troubleshooting if a problem occurs during the Upgrade Installation process for version 16.x.
11.3.1 In Case of Problem During Upgrade of ETERNUS SF Manager (for Windows)
If a problem occurs during the Upgrade Installation process for ETERNUS SF Manager version 16.x. for the server on which Upgrade
Installation failed, perform the following actions.
1.
For cluster environment, if the general script files (for start/stop) of the following services are in use, back up to an optional
directory.

ETERNUS SF Manager Apache Service
-
ETERNUS SF Manager Tomcat Service
2.
Start the command prompt.
3.
Save the device.ini file. (only for Management Server which also serves as a Managed Server)
Save the following file by using the copy command.
For Non-clustered Systems
File for Save
File Name
device.ini
$ENV_DIR\ACM\etc\device.ini
$ENV_DIR is "Environment Directory" specified at the ETERNUS SF Manager installation.
For Clustered Systems
