Format
There are seven sub commands.
-
info: displays the multipath status
-
change: changes the status of a specified path to stop.
-
restart: returns the status of a specified path to active/standby.
-
rescan: installs added storage systems, paths (HBAs), or LUs.
-

While multiple "info" subcommands can be run at the same time, simultaneous execution of multiple
instances of the other subcommands is not allowed.
Also note that "iompadm" is mutually exclusive with the "mpdconfig" command.
Explanation
This command shows the path status and controls the paths (stops/restarts) in a multipath connection
controlled by the Multipath Driver.
Subcommands
This command shows the multipath status and recognized disks that are managed by the Multipath Driver
(even when the configuration is changed to a single path, the information of the disks that are managed
by the Multipath Driver is displayed.)
When a disk_device_node connected to the storage system managed by the Multipath Driver has been
specified, this subcommand displays the recognized disks and path status.
If a disk_device_node is not specified, information on all the connected disk_device_nodes is displayed.
Refer to the Output Format section for details of output information.
When specifying an "adapter" as the change_unit, the following format is available.
/opt/FJSVmpd/bin/iompadm <subcommand> [arg]
iompadm info [disk_device_node]
iompadm info [disk_device_node]
iompadm change adapter PCI_bus_number
