7.4.1.1 Specify the volume area
Any 6-digit string excluding "CLNOOO" and "DG(space)OOO" (OOO are arbitrary) can
be specified as the string for the volume area.

Specify the serial number of the label for cleaning cartridge as "CLNIOOL1" (OO are
arbitrary).

Notes on label affixing

Keep the label affixing surface clean and do not leave fingerprints and finger marks
on it.

Affix the bar code label on the specified location (concavity beside the write protect
switch) of the tape cartridge correctly (See
). If the label is affixed at an
incorrect location or such that is orientation is incorrect, the bar code may become
unidentifiable. After affixing the bar code label, press on it firmly. Notice that the
end parts of the label are easily broken.

To replace the label, peel the old label from the tape and then affix a new one.
