Performance/Tuning

Solution Overview
The performance of existing systems may be affected when the number of servers that access the ETERNUS
DX Disk storage system increases due to increased operations. The process performance that the user sets as
the target value can be automatically adjusted by using ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser to automate QoS. This
guarantees the bandwidth for a server according to the operation priority to reduce the effect on one server
from another server, which results in the performance of a server with high priority and important operations
to be guaranteed.
Efficient operation can be achieved when the response performance of different operations are guaranteed
in different time periods. Examples of this include when the Exchange server and backup applications exist
together, and the Exchange environment is given priority during daytime and backup application operations
are given priority during nighttime.
