Working with the notebook
Removing and installing the battery
Only use batteries approved by Fujitsu for your notebook.
Never use force when fi tting or removing a battery.
Make sure that no foreign bodies get into the battery connections.
Never store a battery for long periods in the discharged state. This
can make it impossible to recharge.
Removing a battery
Please adhere to the safety information in chapter "Important notes", Page 12 .
Remove the power plug from the mains socket!
► Switch the device OFF.
The device must not be in power-saving mode!
► Close the LCD screen.
► Remove all the cables from the device.
► Turn the device over and place it on a stable, fl at and clean surface. If necessary, place
an anti-slip cloth on this surface to prevent the device from being scratched.

► Slide battery release 1 in the direction of the arrow (1) and hold it in place.
► Push release mechanism 2 in the direction of the arrow (2).
► Reach into the opening 3, lift the rechargeable battery (3) and remove the
rechargeable battery from the battery compartment (4).
