Ethernet and LAN
EthernetLAN
The internal network module of your notebook supports Ethernet LAN. You can use it to
establish a connection to a local network (LAN = Local Area Network).

► Connect the network cable to the LAN
port of the notebook (1).
When plugged in, the LAN socket
automatically flips.
► Connect the network cable to your
network connection (2).
Your network administrator can help you to configure and use the LAN connections.
The network cable is not included in the delivery scope. This type of
cable can be obtained from a specialist dealer.
Use a shielded network cable (CAT 5e).
Switching between automatic graphics (NVIDIA
Optimus Technology) and use of processor
graphics exclusively
This function can be set in the
BIOS Setup utility
under
Advanced - Video Features
.
The system can either:
•
automatically switch between the processor graphics and the 3D graphics
(NVIDIA Optimus Technology)
•
only use the processor graphics
You can select from the following options:
Enabled
NVIDIA and Intel® Iris® Xe graphics.
The system uses “NVIDIA Optimus Technology” and switches automatically
between the processor graphics and the 3D graphics.
Disabled
NVIDIA graphics switched off.
The system permanently uses processor graphics.
