Before using the terminal

A docomo nano UIM card is an IC card that stores user
information, such as the users phone number.

･

You can use the terminal only with a docomo nano UIM
card. If you have a docomo mini UIM card, docomo UIM
card, or FOMA card, bring it to a docomo Shop to replace it
with a docomo nano UIM card.

･

If docomo nano UIM card is not inserted to the terminal,
some functions such as making/receiving calls and sending/
receiving SMS are not available.

･

For details on the docomo nano UIM card, refer to the
instruction manual for docomo nano UIM card or NTT
DOCOMO website.

Installing/Removing a docomo nano
UIM card

･

Install/remove after turning OFF the power.

･

Be sure to use the slot cap when inserting a docomo nano
UIM card. Inserting of a docomo nano UIM card alone may
cause a malfunction.

Installing

a

Face the display side of the terminal up, put your fingertip
into the groove and then open the slot cap

b

Draw the slot cap in the direction of the arrow straight and
horizontally

･

The slot cap is designed to separate from the terminal.

c

With the IC side facing down, set the docomo nano UIM
card into the slot cap

･

Check the orientation of card's corner.

･

Be sure to fit the docomo nano UIM card into the slot cap
so that it does not shift.
