3 Measurement
(3) Starting the FDC NX600
Press the power button to start the FDC NX600.
NOTE
If the equipment is connected to DMS,
switch on the equipment before starting
DMS. Failure to observe this precaution
could interfere with data transfer.
IMPORTANT:
If the power has been shut off during measurement
due to a power outage or other issue, replenish
the tips (refer to Section 5.2) and replace the mix-
ing cups (refer to Section 5.3). The analyzer may
lose the information of the usage positions of the
consumables and use wells (holes) of used mixing
cups.

NOTE
When the power switch is not in the ON po-
sition, push the switch to the " | " side.
NOTE
The listing to the left is displayed during
start-up once a month. Perform the periodic
maintenance listed in Chapter 6.
