Problem
The power supply is not turned on. (The battery is only used. )
Cause
Only when the battery is used, the camera is not turned on because of defective solder of the
capacitor on MAIN PWB ASSY.
The battery cannot be charged from the camera.
Repair work
MAIN PWB ASSY:Resolder of C387
Refer to the schematics for the position where parts are mounted.
2.LENS
Problem
Dust in the lens. (user specification)
Cause
There is no influence in the taking a picture image.
There was dust it to was possible to confirm in the lens.
Repair work
The replace of LENS CONST according to the user specification.
Problem
The lens does not return to the home position.
Cause
Defect by user responsibility (fall shock).
Repair work
Replace of LENS CONST.
3.AUTO FOCUS
Problem
Focus error
Cause
The focus error was caused because of focus motor defective operation of the mechanism ele-
ment in the lens.
Repair work
Replace of LENS CONST.
4.IMAGE
Problem
It is a black spot in the taking a picture image.
Cause
Dust adhered in front of CCD.
Repair work
Replace of LENS CONST.
