For your own safety, please read this page carefully before using the machine.

For Installation and Relocation

Do not place the machine in a hot, humid, 
dusty, or poorly ventilated environment. 
Prolonged exposure to these adverse 
conditions can cause fire or electric shock.

Do not place the machine near heaters or 
volatile, flammable, or combustible 
materials such as curtains that may catch 
fire.

Place the machine on a level and sturdy 
surface that can withstand the machine 
weight (DocuScan C4250: approx. 24.0 kg, 
DocuScan C3200 A: approx. 15.0 kg). If 
tilted, the machine may fall over and cause 
injuries.

The DocuScan C4250 weighs 
approximately 24.0 kg. When moving the 
equipment, make sure that there are two or 
more persons carrying it.

When lifting the DocuScan C4250, each 
person should stand either at the front or 
back of the machine and grip it firmly by the 
recessed areas provided on both sides of 
the machine. When lifting the DocuScan 
C3200 A, one person should face the back 
of the machine and grip it firmly by the 
recessed areas provided on both sides of 
the machine. Never try to lift the machine 
by gripping any other areas, such as the 
control panel. Lifting the machine by 
gripping any other areas can cause the 
machine to fall and result in injuries.
