6.1.4.1 Printer Overview

(1) Host Computer

Different computers may be connected to DocuPrint 2050 as a host computer. Point-to-point.

(2) ESS

ESS interprets the print information (control code data, character code data, graphics data,

image data etc.) sent from the host computer, converts it into video data and transfers it to the

IOT.

(3) IOT

Video data received from the ESS is printed on paper. Printing speed is 21 ppm for B/W copies.

Laser Xerographic method with a resolution of 600dpi for A4 paper is adopted.
