For information about specifying a fax number using speed dialing, refer to "Speed Dialing (Entering
Numbers Using Address Number)" (P.115).
For information about specifying a fax number using one touch buttons, refer to "Specifying Destination
Using One Touch Buttons" (P.115).
You can send an iFax. For information about iFax, refer to "About Internet Fax" (P.105).
Step 4 Starting the Fax Job

Press the <Start> button.
Important •
When using the document
feeder, do not hold the
document while it is being fed
into the machine.
Note
•
If a problem occurs, an error
message appears on the
touch screen. Solve the
problem in accordance with
the message.
•
You can set the next job during faxing.
If You Have More Documents
If you have another document, select the [Next Original] on the touch screen while the
current document is being scanned. This allows you to transmit multiple documents as
one set of data.

Select [Next Original] while
scanning is in progress.
Note
•
When using the document
feeder, load the next
document after the machine
has finished scanning the first
document.
•
When the above screen is displayed and no operation is performed during a certain period
of time, the machine automatically assumes that there are no more
documents and clears the settings.

Load the next document.

Press the <Start> button.
If you still have more documents, load the next document and press the <Start>
button.

When all documents have been
scanned, select [Last Original].
