Close the Cover A until it latches,
and then close the bypass tray.

Paper Jams in the Bottom Left Cover [B]

Follow the steps below to clear paper jams in Cover B.

Open Cover B while lifting up the
release lever.

Remove the jammed paper.

Close the Cover B until it latches.

Note

Firmly press the center of the
cover to close it.

•

Depending on the type of paper
jam, a message may be
displayed on the screen with
instructions on opening and
closing the paper tray.
