This section describes the troubleshooting, notes and restrictions when using TCP/IP.
Troubleshooting
The possible causes, check points, and remedies for problems when using TCP/IP
(LPD) are as follows.
When using Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows Me
Cause

Request your network system administrator to
investigate the problem.
The machine’s power was
switched off after the
computer instructed a print

The computer’s available disk
storage is insufficient and
unable to spool the print file.

Open [My Computer] and right click the disk
where the system is installed (e.g. C: drive).
Select [Properties] from the menu and confirm
the available storage.
Remedy
Delete unnecessary files to increase available
disk storage. Then select [Pause] from the
[Document] menu in the [Printer] window to
cancel the pause (the print job will restart).
