Fax Settings

Date/Time
Use this feature to set the current date and time on the machine. Enter the date and
time using the alphanumeric keypad on the control panel. Press the <C> button to clear
the previous value.
NOTE: The range of inputs for time and data is from 00:00 on 1st January 2004 to
23:59 on 31st December 2064.
The date and time settings for the printer feature must be specified separately. Refer to
Machine Clock on page 148.
Next
Moves the cursor to the next entry field.
Date Format
Select a date format of Y/M/D (year/month/day), M/D/Y (month/year/day), or D/M/Y
(day/year/month).
Daylight Savings
With this feature enabled, the machine automatically adjust the current time by one
hour when a summer time period begins and ends.
NOTE: Dates which are inapplicable for the month concerned (such as 31st April or
31st June) or 29th February cannot be entered for the [Start date] and [End date].
The daylight savings setting for the printer feature must be specified separately. Refer
to
Machine Clock on page 148.
To specify this period, enter the start and end date using the alphanumeric keypad on
the control panel.
After entering the start date, pressing the <Enter> button allows you to enter the end
date. After entering the end date, press the <Enter> button again.
Clear
Disables the feature.
