8. Firmware update
This feature allows for firmware updates, when available, for modules connected
to FuelTech CAN.
To check for updates, follow the steps below:
• Open FTManager software
• At “Tools” tab click at the “Can Updater” icon (1).
• Select the product to be updated and click at the “Update” button.
• The screen will show Version and Serial Number for the selected module.
• Wait until the update is finished and unplug the USB cable.
• Turn the vehicle switch on and check if the update was sucessfull.
IMPORTANT
Do not update the module with the engine running.
