Before starting work, thread the wire electrode out of the wire buffer.

IMPORTANT! 

If using a wire electrode with a diameter of 1.6 mm (1/16 in.), fit

the "original equipment kit 1.6 mm (1/16 in.)" to the sliding contact and wire
guide in the wire buffer.
