General

Layout of 1 kHz medium-frequency direct current welding system

The 50/60 Hz AC mains voltage is converted to DC voltage via a bypass rectifier. The tran-
sistorised H-bridge circuit transfers the DC voltage to the welding transformer at a frequen-
cy of 1 kHz. The welding current is rectified in the welding transformer.
