7.5.1 Terminating resistor at communication module

The terminating resistors on the first and last participants must be activated for integration into a cascade or a
higher modbus system. The terminating resistor must be deactivated on all other communication modules. The
position of the switch is located on the bottom of the CS 1030 communication module. If the terminating resistor
is activated, the “T” is illuminated on the LED display of the module.
