Use the SPA FROG Bromine Cartridge that controls bacteria and algae
with the SPA FROG Conditioning Cartridge for complete and easy spa
care. Conveniently dispenses through the SPA FROG In-Line System
for less work with pre-filled, disposable cartridges, convenient top loading
access, plus relaxation and peace of mind.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
NOTE: Check expiry date of the test kit as test results may be inaccurate if used
after that date.
Daily usage should be approximately 5 g of product per 1,000 L of
spa water.
NOTE: Heavy spa usage, and higher temperature may require higher settings
to maintain proper bromine residuals.
1. Maintain recommended daily levels as determined by a testing kit.
Free available bromine: 3.0 – 5.0 ppm
pH: 7.2 – 7.8
Total Alkalinity: 80 – 120 ppm
Calcium Hardness: 150 – 250 ppm
2. Remove the product shrink sleeve over the spa as some dusting will occur.

Using with the In-Line System: Open cap of In-Line System, push down
and turn holder counter clockwise to unlock. Pull holder out. Set the SPA
FROG Bromine Cartridge to #3 by holding the bottom and turning the top until
the number 3 appears in the setting window. Snap the SPA FROG Bromine
Cartridge into the bottom section of the holder marked “Bromine” making sure
to line up the indent on product with the raised line on holder. Use with the
SPA FROG Conditioning Cartridge snapped into the top section marked
“Minerals”. Replace holder. Push down and lock in place. Replace cap.
4. Initially monitor bromine levels daily. Remove the SPA FROG Bromine
Cartridge and adjust by 1 increment per day until a 3-5 ppm residual is
achieved. Adjusting to a higher setting will increase the bromine output
while a lower setting will decrease it.
5. Periodic super chlorination of spa water is recommended. Follow label instructions for super chlorination product being employed.
6. When empty follow disposal directions and replace with a new SPA FROG Bromine Cartridge.
NOTE : Persistent foam formation, turbid or malodorous water are indicators of inadequate sanitizer levels. To correct such conditions, super chlorinate
spa water by adding a super chlorination product. Maintain circulation at least 30 minutes and wait 4 hours before using.
For proper sanitation, spa must be completely drained periodically. The number of days between complete spa drainage is equal to the volume of spa
water in liters, divided by 10 times the maximum number of daily spa users. Refill spa with water and repeat DIRECTIONS FOR USE. Maximum spa
water usage temperature is 40ºC and duration in spa water should not exceed 15 minutes.
Do not contaminate irrigation or drinking water supplies or aquatic habitats by cleaning of equipment or disposal of wastes.
PRECAUTIONS: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN . Corrosive - Causes eye damage and skin burns. Skin exposure to dust may cause allergic
skin reaction in some individuals. Do not get in eyes, on skin or clothing. It is recommended to wear rubber gloves and goggles when handling the
product. May be harmful or fatal if swallowed. Do not swallow. Avoid breathing dust and fumes. Dust may be harmful or fatal if inhaled. Strong oxidizing
agent. May cause fire and explosion if contaminated. Dangerous gas formed when mixed with acid. Do not mix with any other chemical.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL: Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal.
STORAGE: Store in a dark, cool (below 30°C), dry, well-ventilated area, in original container away from heat or open flame.
DISPOSAL: Do not reuse empty container. Rinse empty container thoroughly, wrap and dispose of with household garbage. For information on the
disposal of unused, unwanted product and the cleanup of spills contact the Provincial Regulatory Agency.
FIRST AID : If in eyes: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present,
after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control centre or doctor for treatment advice.
If on skin or clothing: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control centre or
doctor for treatment advice.
If inhaled: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably by mouth-to-mouth,
if possible. Call a poison control centre or doctor for further treatment advice.
If swallowed: Call a poison control centre or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not
induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control centre or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Take
container, label or product name and Pest Control Product Registration Number with you when seeking medical attention.
TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION : Treat symptomatically. Note to Physician: Probable mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage. This
product is corrosive to skin and eyes and may produce a sensitization response or allergic reaction in some individuals.
ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS: This product is toxic to fish. Do not discharge into lakes, streams, ponds or public water.
NOTICE TO USER: This pest control product is to be used only in accordance with the directions on the label. It is an offence under the Pest Control Products
Act to use this product in a way that is inconsistent with the directions on the label.
