The condensation formed on the equipment frame lids may be caused by air infiltrations through the
door gasket or by the failed operation of the frame lids heater
Environments with high humidity can favour the formation of condensation on the
frame lids, especially if the door is opened frequently
1. Make sure that the door is perfectly aligned with the body
and that the gasket evenly adheres to the frame lids
If necessary, adjust the door by acting on the upper and lower hinges
2. Check that the door gasket is not damaged
otherwise replace it with a new one
3.
Check the operation of the “E4” frame heater installed on the models
with range -25/-15°C; -22/-18°C; -20/-15°C; -6/+4°C; -2/+8°C
The “E4” heater is enabled by parameter u1=4
--> make sure that the parameter is correctly set.
The heater works below the temperature set by parameter u5.
For the correct checks, disable the Energy Saving function by pressing the relative icon on the electronic board.
Check that the “K3” relay contact, which manages the “E4” heater, is closed:
- put the board in stand-by and disconnect voltage to the equipment
- disconnect the frame heater cable from the electronic board K3 connector
- power the equipment and turn on the display board
- after reaching the temperature below which the heater activates (parameter u5),
with a multimetre check the presence of 230V +/- 10% at the K3 connector output
If there is no voltage at the “K3” connector output
replace the electronic board
If there is voltage at the “K3” connector output, check the wiring to be
sure that there is power supply up to the “E4” frame heater
In the absence of electrical absorption
replace the frame heater
