• Position the FRITZ!Box in a central location.
• Position the FRITZ!Box in an elevated location.
• Keep sufficient distance from potential sources of interference like
DECT base stations, microwave devices or electric devices with
large metal housings.
• Position the FRITZ!Box so that it is not covered by other objects and
there are as few walls or other obstacles as possible between it
and the other wireless devices.
• Make sure that the FRITZ!Box uses frequency ranges that are used
by as few other devices as possible.
Tip
By slightly shifting the position of the FRITZ!Box it is often possible to
improve the Wi-Fi connection significantly. If these measures are not
sufficient, then you can extend the range of your Wi-Fi network with a
wireless repeater and Mesh with FRITZ!;

Important
Damage to electric wiring or gas or water pipes during drilling can
present a significant danger. Before mounting the FRITZ!Box on the
wall, make sure that there are no electricity lines, gas or water pipes
located where you need to drill the holes. If necessary, check the site
with a pipe detector or consult with qualified experts.
