Customer Care
If your refrigerator presents any operating
problems, check the possible causes and
solutions. If the corrections suggested are
insufficient, contact the Technical Service.

If the refrigerator
does not work
Refrigerator plug is unplugged.
Connect the plug into the outlet.
Outlet with bad contact.
Correct the defect in the electrical outlet.
Blackout or voltage oscillation.
Remove the plug from the outlet for 10 seconds
and plug it again
Blackout, residence fuse burned or circuit
breaker off.
Wait energy return, replace fuse or switch the
circuit breaker on.
Voltage in outlet too high or too low (in this
case, the compressor will give several suc-
cessive starts without working.
Install the voltage stabilizer (not less 1500 VA).
If the refrigerator
does not cool (poor
cooling)
Inappropriate adjustment of the temperature
control in the refrigerator compartment.
Adjust it correctly, according to the item “Air
flow control system”.
Incidence of direct sunlight or other heat sour-
ces close to the tefrigerator.
See “Installation - Choosing the site”.
Airflow blocked.
Clear the air outlets.
Too long open door time.
Open it only the necessary time.
Cloth/objects on the condenser.
Remove the objects.
Dirty condenser.
Make cleaning as instructed.
Frozen food in the
refrigerator
Inappropriate adjustment of the temperature
control.
Adjust temperature control correctly
Food positioned near the air outlets.
Reposition the food.
Very moist foods.
Dry them before storing them.
Improper adjustment of the air flow control.
Put the control to “maximum freezer”.
Foods are unfreezing
in the freezer
compartment
Blackout.
Foods stored in freezer may not be in
conditions to be consumed. Check all of
them.
Excessive loading of the freezer compartment.
Respect the freezing capacity of your
refrigerator.
Refrigerator recently ON.
Wait for freezer cooling.
Foods are not
freezing properly
inside freezer
compartment
Inappropriate adjustment of the airflow control
in the freezer compartment.
Position correctly the airflow control to “maxi-
mum freezer”.
Foods stored near air outlets.
Reposition foods.
