2.5 eMIOS Pin Connections and Serialization
The eMIOS channels connect to external pins or can be serialized in and out of the device. Both the input
and output channels of EMIOS[0:11, 16:23] connect to pins, but only the output channels of
EMIOS[12:15] connect to pins. The output channels of EMIOS[10:13] can be serialized OUT, and the
inputs of EMIOS[12:15] can be serialized IN. The DSPI connections for EMIOS[10:11] are given in
Figure 2-7 , Figure 2-8 for EMIOS[12:13], and Figure 2-9 for EMIOS[14:15].

DSPI B serialized input channels 0, 1, 14, and 15 are connected to eMIOS channels. DSPI B serialized
output channels 14, 15 are connected to eMIOS channels. DSPI B serialized output channels 0 through
7 are not connected.
