4.7.5 SNMP Configuration
To configure the SNMP settings on the freeStor Xpand 1500C, click “System Controls” from the
main menu, then click on “SNMP Configuration”. Set the IP address of the computer running
your SNMP manager, the community string, and select which alerts should be sent. See
Appendix D for a list of SNMP traps and definitions.
4.7.6 View Events/Mute Beeper
To view the freeStor Xpand 1500C’s system event information, click “System Controls” in the
main menu, then click on “View Events/Mute Beeper” (Figure 4-14). The events will be
displayed on the screen. System events are organized by: Time, Device, Event type, Elapse
Time and Errors. The freeStor Xpand 1500C does not have a built-in real time clock. The Time
information is relative to the time that the unit was turned on.
