MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES
Fuel filling
For the proper functioning of the engine, it is essential to always use good quality unleaded petrol and
it is absolutely forbidden to remove the filter placed inside the tank for filling up.
WARNING: do not refuel with the engine on or overheated. Do not
smoke during refuelling and keep any type of flame away from the
machine.
Engine oil change and filling up
Refer to the Maintenance and use manual for the engine. (See lubricant table Pg. 59)
Fuel filter replacement
Refer to the Maintenance and use manual for the engine.
Gearbox oil change and filling up
Periodically check the oil level .
Park the machine on a flat surface whilst checking, topping up and replacing oil.
OIL REPLACEMENT
1-
Unscrew the 4 gearbox safety guard screws (Fig. 107) and remove it (Fig. 108).
2-
Remove the yellow oil filling cap (Fig. 109).
3-
Carry out oil draining by removing the plug (Fig. 110) and allow the oil to drain out into a
collecting container.
4-
Once all of the oil inside the gearbox has been emptied put the oil drain plug back in (Fig. 110).
5-
Put into the oil filling cap (Fig. 109) 0.80 L of oil for SAE 80 W 90 transmissions (See lubricant
table Pg. 59).
6-
Check the oil level by unscrewing the bolt (Fig. 111).
