Wearsteel

The cutting edge at the bottom of the blade wears over time with operation. It is
important to make sure that the wear strip sticks out from under the blade, so that
you do not wear the blade itself. If the wear strip is only 30 mm or less from the
blade, it is time to lower or replace the wear strip.

Start by loosening the nuts on the back of the blade while the machine is placed on
the surface as previously described.
After all the nuts have been loosened, the tractor is started and the machine is lifted
very carefully from the surface and up to the height so that the wear strip can be
inserted into the other holes. Then stop the tractor and ensure that the blade cannot
accidentally fall to the ground, using a rod or jack.

The bolts are removed and the wear steel is moved down to the next hole and the
bolts and nuts are reinserted and tightened to a maximum of 120 N/m as follows.
If a bolt for the wear steel has been lost, it is important to replace it with one of the
same quality. The wear steel is factory fitted with bolts in steel grade 12.9

Tyres

The GT-300AUS is fitted with two 400/60-15.5 tyres as standard. The recommended
tyre pressure is approximately 50 PSI. Check tyre pressures regularly to ensure the
longest possible tyre life.

Wheel hub

The wheel hubs must be checked for any wobble at least once a year. Check for
wobbles by lifting the wheels from the surface, with a jack. Then you take hold of the
wheel and try to turn it from side to side.
If you cannot turn the wheel from side to side, there is no wobble in the wheel hub
and the check is complete.

However, if the wheel hub can be rotated from side to side, the crown nut inside the
wheel hub must be retightened. If you are not experienced in this, you should contact
a professional who can carry out the wheel hub retightening.

It is recommended that the wheel nuts, which connect the wheels to the wheel hub,
are retightened after 10 hours of operation, when a new machine is delivered and
once a year thereafter. Wheel nuts are tightened to a maximum of 300 N/m

WARNING

Driving with wheel hub wobble can eventually cause defective wheel bearings
and lead to wheel failure.

Cleaning

To maintain a functional product, cleaning must be done at regular intervals. It is
recommended to use a high-pressure cleaner for cleaning. Ball bearings and other
lubrication points must not be sprayed with water, this also applies to hydraulic piston
rods protruding from the hydraulic cylinder.

Storage

After use and cleaning, it is recommended to store the machine under a ....???
(under a what???) To protect against metal corrosion, it is also recommended to
spray metals where the paint has worn off and piston rods from hydraulic cylinders
