All the instructions or operations described here are to be to be carried out on the
Hood control panel
To begin the hood should
not
have a mains electrical supply connected, though if the
switch supply point is not close enough to the hood, and in a remote location, that cannot
be physically be reached by the operator the while at the hood, then help will be required
to further complete this instruction.
To
enter the parameter
to activate the remote control,
1) Hold down the minus button (-) on the hood control fascia, while switching the
power supply on at the socket.
Display will show
‘SO’
then
‘
SE
’
(immediately release the minus (-) button.)
2) When
‘
SE’
displays immediately
release
the minus (-) button.
Display shows ‘Rotating squares’
3) Now press and hold for two (2) seconds the
24 hr
button. Just once.
Be aware that further depresions of this button will
deactivate
the remote control.
4)
The display window will show
twice!
The remote control is now active,
NB
Please note the following:
i.
There is
no visible sign
from the remote control, of infrared operation, from the
users point of view. No flashing lamp.
ii.
The activation of a hood function by remote control, may take several (approx 5)
seconds to be
decoded
by the hood. Keep the selected function button on the
remote control pressed.
Unlike a television remote control that gives instant
results at the touch of a button. Please be patient.
