11.5 Seal Only (PostBase Vision with feeder)
With the special function ‘Seal Only’, you can seal and count letters without printing
(up to7 mm). This special function is only available on PostBase Vision systems with
feeder. Please refer to the mail piece specifications on pages 187 to 188.

PostBase Vision opens the ‘Automatic Feed-
ing’ pop-up for the ‘Seal Only’ function.
All settings for automatic feeding, preparing
and positioning letter stacks are done exactly
as when franking mail. For detailed informa-
tion, please read chapter 6.3.3.
• On the feeder, switch on the seal function:
Set the switch to the position seal (see also
chapter 6.3.3.2, page 73).
• Position letter stack on the feeder / start
letter transport.
The ‘Seal Only’ special function has its own
counter. PostBase Vision shows the number
of transported mail pieces on the upper right
side of the display.
When leaving the ‘Seal Only’ function, the
counter is reset to ‘0’.
