Function:
To configure the address pool for DHCPv6, and enter the DHCPv6 address
pool configuration mode. In this mode, information such as the address prefix to be
allocated, the DNS server addresses, and domain names, can be configured for the
DHCPv6 client. The no form of this command will remove the configuration of the address
pool.
Parameter:
< poolname>
is the address pool name of DHCPv6 with its length no more
than 32.
Default:
Any DHCPv6 address pool are not configured by default.
Command Mode:
Global Mode.
Usage Guide:
This command should be launched in global configuration mode, and falls
in DHCPv6 address pool configuration mode if launched successfully. To remove a
configured address pool, interface bindings related to the address pool, as well as the
related address bindings will be removed.
Example:
To define an address pool, named 1.
Switch(config)#ipv6 dhcp pool 1
