OPERATION
TURNING ON/OFF THE UNIT
Press PWR button (3) to turn on the unit.
When the unit is on. Press and hold for 2
seconds to turn off the unit.
SOUND ADJUSTMENT
Press SEL button (5) shortly to select the
desired adjustment mode. The adjustment
mode will be changed in the following
order:
BASS-TRE-BAL-FAD- LOUD -EQ-STEREO-
DX-VOL
TRE: treble
BAL: balance
FAD: fader
EQ: equalization
LOUD: loudness
DX: distance
LOC: local
By rotating the audio knob (5) it is possible
to adjust the desired sound quality or
setting.
Press and hold SEL button for 2 seconds
into RDS menu as below:
AF-TA-PT
Y
DISPLAY TIME
Press DISP button (1) to show the time.
After 5 seconds it will return to show the
information.
SET THE TIME
(1) Manual setting:
Press DISP button (1) to show the time.
Then press and hold DISP button (1) for
2 seconds. The
“HH” will flash. Press
button (6 or button (17) to
change the hour. After that press DISP
button the
“MM” will flash. Press
button or button to change the
minute. Then press DISP button to confirm.
(2) Auto setting:
To receive a RDS station which has
good
signal(The AF symbol of the LCD does
not flashing). Several minutes later the
time will be synchronized to the station
’s
time by the station
’s signal. (Note: None
RDS station does not have this function.)
LOUDNESS
In the LOUD item of the SEL menu.
Rotating the VOL knob to turn on/off the
LOUD function.
EQUALIZATION
In the EQ item of the SEL menu. Rotating
the VOL knob to turn on equalization
function and to select desired audio mode.
There are several kinds of mode as
below:

FLAT
→
POP
→
ROCK
→
CLASS
→
EQ OFF
LOCAL function
In DX item of the SEL menu rotating the
audio knob (5) to choose LOCAL or DX
mode. In LOC mode the unit will reduce the
receiving sensitivity when you search
station. That means you can receive the
station that sound is good. It will ignores
the station that sound is not good. In DX
mode it will increase the receiving
sensitivity when you search the station.
That means you can receive more
stations.
STEREO/MONO
In STEREO item of the SEL menu rotating
the audio knob (5) to choose STEREO or
MONO mode. In STEREO mode you can
receive FM stereo signal. In MONO mode
the stereo station will be switched to
monochrome. Sometimes when the signal
is not good. If you change it to MONO
mode. The noise will be reduced.
LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY
Exhibit current frequency and activated
functions on the display .
