Ventilation & Drainage Systems - Section K

After winterization of the fresh water system (if

applicable), be sure the bilge area, bilge pump and as-

sociated hoses are thoroughly dry. Damage to the

hull, bilge pump and other equipment could occur if

water is allowed to freeze in the bilge.

C. Liner Drains

Fiberglass liners with liner drains are standard on

most models. Fiberglass liners can be cleaned easily

with water and a brush. See Figure K1. The water will

drain into the bilge and be pumped overboard by the

bilge pump.

sealed in accordance with U.S. Coast Guard regula-
