6.1
– Anchorage point
This wheelchair is equipped with anchoring systems (see photos below) enabling it to be secured in a
specially equipped vehicle (a system of rails and safety straps front and rear keeping the wheelchair safely
secured).
WARNING !
It is essential the user be secured by a system fitted to the vehicle. If the user remains seated
in the wheelchair during transport, the safety belt of the motor vehicle must be used.
The wheelchair safety belt on its own is not approved for transport in a motor vehicle.
WARNING !
Check the wheelchair is safely strapped down. If the wheelchair is not safely strapped down,
there is a risk of it coming loose and thus causing injury to the passenger(s) and damaging the equipment.
